Kèr Corbosāshu (/ˈcorbo/ /ˈsəˑʃu/ [dynamics] [blind]) is a subtropical Town located in the Iēibonjām Region of the Tetbur Commune.

The name Kèr Corbosāshu is derived from the Tauric language, as Kèr Corbosāshu was founded by Snocthê Dyfodwg, who was culturaly Tauric.

Climate

Kèr Corbosāshu has a yearly average temperature of 29°C (84°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a hot 32°C (89°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a warm 27°C (80°F). Kèr Corbosāshu receives an average of 259 cm/y (101 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the summer. Kèr Corbosāshu covers an area of nearly 5 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 2250 m (7381 ft) above sea level.

Overview

Kèr Corbosāshu was founded durring the early 10th century, by Snocthê Dyfodwg. The establishment of Kèr Corbosāshu was plagued by a lack of willing colonists. After attempts to pay people to resettle failed Snocthê Dyfodwg struck deals with nearby nations and communities to establish Kèr Corbosāshu as a prison colony.

Kèr Corbosāshu was built using the conventions of Tauric durring the early 10th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Kèr Corbosāshu is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber and earth construction, with most buildigns first floors resembling mounds of earth, with subsequent floors appearing as elaborate log cabins, with each building forming a tiered pyramid of sorts fromed from the stack of rectangular, peek roofed cabins. Most wooden bracing, support, and trim is carved with decorative knotwork, and the larger structures even feature painted trim which emphasises the knotwork.

Kèr Corbosāshu is buildings folow an organic layout of premissive cobblestone streets whihch gives the town a shape simmilar to a tree, if one views its streets from above. The town posesses a mighty albit amaturly crafted stone wall. It was built using querried stone blocks and posesses all of the standard defencive features, including a few watch towers. While it would last against a siege, the wall's outdated and simplistic construction method percludes the possability of Kèr Corbosāshu weathering a full scale bombardment durring a siege. The town's budget focused millitary grade defenses have recently undergone extensive repairs and renovations, such that the repairwork is imeadiently apparent and can be spotted due to the diffring ages of materials. One can't help but wonder what brought the need for those repairs to the town.

Right off the bat Kèr Corbosāshu hits you in the face with its success. Everyone, even the peasants, are dressed in well made clothing. Every tool and implement you can see is finely made, and people will boast to you as obvious strangers of the wonders which can be found in their markets. More interestingly is a total lack of beggars, and plenty of new buildings are going up even as you speak. Somehow this town has come into quite a lot of wealth, and recently from the looks of things.

Civic Infrastructure

Kèr Corbosāshu has an Office of Civil Groundskeeping, which works to enforce local ordinances relating to the construction and upkeep up of all plant life, water features, and other natural decorations within Kèr Corbosāshu. They are also responsible for the maintenance of these features. Notably, the OCG is not responsible for Kèr Corbosāshu's parks.

Kèr Corbosāshu has an Office of Civil Vicary, which is responsible for providing a livelyhood for all officialy recognised religious figures within Kèr Corbosāshu.

Kèr Corbosāshu has a Gravedigger's Guild, which is responsible for collecting the dead and laying them to rest according to all applicable laws and religious customs.

Kèr Corbosāshu has a Highwayman's Guild, which is tasked with maintaining the roads and highways leading into town as well as keeping them safe for travelers.

Kèr Corbosāshu has a monistary of an order of Civil Monks, who provide divine-related services to the general public and maintain Kèr Corbosāshu's public wards, blessings, and other arcane systems.

Kèr Corbosāshu possesses a Galvanic Power Grid, which brings galvanic current to most if not all buildings in town, and permits a great many consumer goods to function within the Town. Kèr Corbosāshu's grid is powered by a direct leyline tap.

Kèr Corbosāshu has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands. They are not to be confused with the Office of Civil Groundskeeping as they do not hold authority over nor responsibility for Kèr Corbosāshu's natural decorations nor waterways.

Kèr Corbosāshu has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.

Kèr Corbosāshu has a public septic system, which allows its citizens to have indoor bathrooms. The septic system is overseen by the League of Sewerkeepers, who posses the legal authority to enforce all laws relating to the septic system, and are also tasked with its maintenance and upkeep.

Cultural Notes

Two or more groups of citizens within Kèr Corbosāshu hate each other. Their neighbors or the local law have kept things from too-overt violence, but members of the groups will constantly interfere with their rivals and cause whatever misery they can get away with. This hate may spring from recent events, or it may be an inherited spite from old wrongs.

Kèr Corbosāshu's garrison was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is known for its fluid and florid elaborate style, comprising ornate, asymmetric designs and pastel shades. It is often considered to be a playful, light style, which made exuberant use of curves and emphasized subtle asymmetry in the general shape of its structures. Walls, ceilings and moldings are decorated with numerous interlacing of curves and counter-curves based on the shapes of ‘C’ and ‘S’, along with shell forms and other naturalistic shapes.

The Bogwid near Kèr Corbosāshu are known to be more aggressive than normal.

Kèr Corbosāshu's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in winter and involves sex to channel Charm energies of tier 1 via singing.
